And when I say wrong, I mean in terms of how far they take a parody, not in terms of facts.

Would of posted sooner, but the DDoS on LJ (and Twitter and Facebook and Google) made the site not work for me when I got home.

Anyway, at some point, SF allowed developers to have their own little page for doing stuff minor. They had it so that each developer has this default page that follows a certain format. Here's a working page from the lead developer of the PasswordMaker Firefox extension (and the person who created the thing actually): http://grimholtz.users.sourceforge.net/

Here's mine: http://javs.users.sourceforge.net/ and my profile page: http://sourceforge.net/users/javs (Old account ain't it?)

(Note, I removed the quotes from my name there and it works now)

Compared to what was in 3.0, Firefox 3.5 appears to have an ugly icon for the taskbar. Eventually I'll get used to it, a new version comes out with another icon, and I still complain (maybe)

Maybe it's too cartoony or something. And I still need to see about updating it from home.

Looking at the sizes here, I noticed something odd. I'll just post a chart here

XP SP3 IE6464.7 MB
XP SP3 IE7560.8 MB
XP SP3 IE8474.0 MB
Vista IE71990.5 MB (~1.9 GB)
Vista IE82138.5 MB (~ 2.1GB)

So let's see, XP grows with IE7, then from there, shrinks with IE8! Almost to the IE6 size!!! WTC?
And the increase for the IE8 upgrade on Vista... YIKES!

With the XP bit, maybe it's a compression thing that happened. Somehow IE8's HD image compresses a little better than IE7 (Lack of the developer toolbar and script debugger installers may help. Not sure though)

Oh, BTW, because of Windows 7, you need to (kinda) hunt down the version of Virtual PC that works in XP/Vista now.

about this journal
Few things to note.

1) The subject may not relate to the main body of the post. So you may need to treat it as another entry.

2) If you're not on my friend list, your comments are screened by default. Only to not allow bots to have their links appear to search engines.

3) I use Firefox as my primary browser. I don't see pop-ups and have some scripting stuff disabled as well. I have the extension AdBlock installed with Filterset.G. And I have Java disabled in Firefox (as Java bugs me with it's slowness), so WinIE users beware of my links.
